This video [pardon the bad quality] is an example of a scripted speech, from how the girl obviously reads everything off the piece of paper she has.

She planned the speech well and captured the attention of the audience right from the beginning when she steps up onto the podium. Using audience adaption, she talked about things that the audience [fellow graduates] could relate to, such as graduating, getting a job, partying, etc.

I think that her speech was very well structured as it has a good flow from one point to another and it is very obvious that introduction, body, and conclusion are very well developed.

Regarding her delivery, while she had a script and read from it, she had obviously practiced enough to make it sound like she wasn't totally just reading off a piece of paper. She had also taken efforts to erase traces of speech anxiety and didn't appear nervous by stuttering, biting her lips, etc.

She managed to leave an imprint of her speech in me, and I believe that all her fellow graduates would be thinking about this speech even when they have long graduated.
